Building tools
for education.
Western Studio makes practical tools for people who work in education, built from the inside by a practitioner who understands the profession.

The T&L Development Studio
A live, explorable demo of a bespoke teaching-and-learning platform. Staff review one another's practice against a shared framework, capturing observations, learning walks and departmental reviews, and log their own professional development as they go. Line managers and leadership see the whole picture through live analytics, from review completion to CPD across a team, supported by built-in AI assistants that read anonymised trends only. This public demo runs on the DfE Teachers' Standards, but every part, from framework and forms to language, colours, branding and workflow, is built around each school. Explore it; no sign-in needed.
Built bespoke for The BRIT School
Behind the demo sits a fully bespoke build for The BRIT School: its own framework and language, its safeguarding and data-protection needs, in the school's own visual identity. The demo shows the shape, and each school gets its own.

How it's built
Western Studio is deliberately small. The tools are built by someone who works in education, using modern, AI-assisted development - so a real classroom problem becomes a working, tested tool in days, and stays close to how schools actually work.
The things that matter are built properly: how staff data is stored, who can see what, how it's secured - with document-level access controls, rules tested before they ship, and a proper data-protection assessment. One person understands every part of it and stands behind it. That's what keeps the tools practical, quick to improve, and answerable to the people who use them.
